We are expanding our IT team and introducing a dedicated Software Asset / License Manager role responsible for building and managing company-wide processes around software assets, licenses, and subscriptions.

As the company grows, so does the number of tools, services, and licenses used across teams worldwide. We are looking for a specialist who will bring structure, automation, and cost efficiency to software asset management, ensuring transparency, compliance, and optimal spending.

This role is not only operational but also process-driven — focused on automation, optimization, and continuous improvement of how software is requested, distributed, and managed.

The new specialist will join the IT department — SysAdmin team, with a primary focus on software asset and license management.

Responsibilities:

  • Process software acquisition requests and approvals.

  • Manage the software licenses and subscriptions lifecycle: inventory, allocation, renewals, access control, and usage compliance (Legal–Production–Finance cycle).

  • Build and improve asset management processes and systems (onboarding, termination, ongoing requests).

  • Automate workflows related to software requests, provisioning, renewals, and decommissioning.

  • Monitor and ensure compliant and efficient software usage across corporate devices.

  • Identify optimization opportunities by consolidating tools, eliminating unused licenses, and proposing alternatives.

  • Collaborate with vendors, resellers, and support teams in English.

  • Support procurement and payment processes related to software purchases.

  • Maintain documentation and internal knowledge base.

  • Participate in software budget planning and spending optimization.

Skills and requirements:

  • Basic system administration knowledge.

  • Experience communicating with software vendors and partners in English (including calls).

  • Experience working with ticketing systems (Jira, Asana, or similar).

  • Experience managing accounts and subscriptions in cloud services.

  • Ability to create clear documentation and instructions.

  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on automation and optimization.

  • Experience implementing asset or license management systems.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working as a system administrator in mid-size or large companies.

  • Understanding of data processing and storage risks, including GDPR compliance basics.

  • Experience evaluating software from a data security perspective.

  • Experience with license servers and enterprise licensing models.

  • Knowledge of game development tools and pipelines, enabling optimization through tool consolidation and replacement.
