We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to boost the Core Gameplay Development Team. The team is working on the heart of the game, transforming design ideas into smooth functionality and breathtaking gaming experience for every UFL player.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement key core gameplay mechanics that form the foundation of the overall experience;

• Work with input systems, including both the legacy Input Manager and the new Enhanced Input system;

• Develop and maintain character abilities using the Gameplay Ability System (GAS);

• Create complex character controller logic to ensure responsive and smooth movement;

• Collaborate with game designers and other developers to deliver the best possible gameplay experience.

Skills and requirements:

• At least 5 years of commercial development experience in C++;

• Solid experience with Unreal Engine (3+ years);

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in designing and implementing core gameplay mechanics;

• Experience working with the Gameplay Ability System (GAS);

• Knowledge of the Unreal Engine replication system;

• Understanding of game mathematics (vectors, quaternions, matrices) and the ability to apply them in practice;

• Experience working with the Unreal Engine physics engine, including understanding of Continuous Collision Detection (CCD).

Nice to Have:

• Experience in profiling and optimizing project performance (CPU/GPU);

• Skills in writing automated tests to ensure code quality;

• Familiarity with modern animation techniques such as Motion Matching.
