What you will do:

• Turn research prototypes into robust, well-engineered code which can be used in our Core Gameplay Team. Our main goals for nearest future are to work with Unreal Engine Physics (Chaos);

• Investigate, analyze and make recommendations regarding technology improvements, upgrades and modifications;

• Share knowledge, collaborate with other experts and build a top-quality project for gaming consoles.

  Skills and requirements: 

• 5+ years of professional C++.

• Solid grasp of classical mechanics, linear algebra, numerical integration and collision detection;

• Shipped at least one title or engine feature using a commercial physics engine (Chaos, Havok, PhysX, Bullet, …);

• Authoring custom constraints or ragdoll systems;

• System architecture experience;

• Ability to read, critique and implement algorithms from international scientific papers.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience modifying UE source, authoring plugins or custom build pipelines;

• Contributions to open‑source physics libraries or published papers;

• Networked physics.
