Quality Control is the service team that is not tied to product team.

Responsible for stabilizing the release, searching for regression defects, prioritizing them, and communicating fixes.

Regularly performs regression testing to assess release stability and mitigate defect risks in the integration interactions of features. Continuously develops and updates regression test suite through documentation analysis and replenishment from acceptance test suites. The team is responsible for Quality Gate slices of stable, release, production branches.

Team is the primary customer of automation to reduce the length of test cycles.

Can perform the function of acceptance testing for complex cross-command complex and features.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and updating a set of regression tests to ensure game stability and performance.

• Running regression tests to verify game functionality after changes have been made.

• Working closely with the development team to reproduce, and localize defects and validate fixes.

• Collaborating with QA team to improve testing strategies and develop regression testing best practices.

• Prioritizing and scheduling test activities in a dynamic production process.

• Creating clear and detailed defect reports and communicating with the development team and stakeholders.

• Assist in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks in a customer facing role.

• Keeping up-to-date on new testing tools and strategies.

Skills and requirements:

• Experience in testing and quality assurance in the gaming industry for AAA games in a QA engineer role for 1 year or more.

• Knowledge of test design techniques and their applicability.

• Experience with defect and test management systems (e.g. Jira+Testrail).

• Experience with regression testing
