We are looking for a Privacy Counsel to join our rapidly growing global team and to join the Product legal department and be responsible for all legal aspects of operating the UFL.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for coordinating privacy operations across internal teams, including Product, Marketing, HR, Infosec, Analytics, and vendor management.

•  Triage, track, and distribute incoming privacy requests to appropriate team members.

•  Support cross-functional teams in maintaining accurate data flows, data inventories, and documentation needed for privacy compliance.

•  Assist with DPIAs/PIAs, data subject rights requests, regulatory inquiries, and privacy mailbox management.

•  Contribute to developing, implementing, and improving privacy operational processes, policies, guidelines, and internal procedures.

•  Support incident response protocols and help document investigation steps and outcomes.

•  Prepare and maintain privacy metrics and KPIs to evaluate program effectiveness and operational maturity.

•  Participate in employee privacy training and awareness activities.

•  Perform preliminary review of privacy and data protection terms in contracts and coordinate required changes with legal and technical teams.

•  Conduct research on new or emerging privacy regulations and help translate requirements into practical steps for the business.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in privacy, data protection operations, compliance, or a related legal function.

• Working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and general global privacy principles.

• Experience with privacy management tools (consent management, data mapping, PIA/DPIA systems, or similar).

• Strong organizational and coordination skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill issues and provide structured input.

• Comfort working cross-functionally with technical, product, and business stakeholders.

• Attention to detail and a systematic approach to documentation and processes.

• Strong written and verbal English skills.

• Background or familiarity with technology, gaming, mobile products, or digital platforms is a plus.
