We are looking for a proactive Data Engineer who wants to develop in the field of data analysis and automation. You will work with the “nervous system” of our products - telemetry events, which contain key information about user behavior and system performance.

Our Data Platform team is responsible for collecting, processing and providing data for decision making. We are looking for someone to help us build a proactive anomaly detection system and become a telemetry expert.

Responsibilities:

• Automate anomaly detection: Develop and implement tools to automatically search for anomalies in telemetry event streams (e.g., sudden drop or increase in the number of events, change in event structure).

• Design and implement new events: Work closely with development teams to design, implement and validate new telemetry events for game features.

• Develop data products: Participate in the full cycle of work on the data side of a feature, from ideation and discussion to implementation and rollout.

• Maintain documentation: Describe changes, create guides, advise analysts and developers on telemetry-related issues.

Skills and requirements: 

• Hands-on experience with Python for data processing tasks.

• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration of pipelines.

• Knowledge of ClickHouse at the level of writing queries and understanding the principles of operation.

• Experience with Protobuf for data serialization.

• General understanding of the software development lifecycle (CI/CD, Git).

Nice to have: 

• Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).

• Data visualization skills in Tableau or similar BI tools.
