We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join the Core Gameplay Development Team. The team is working on the heart of the game, transforming design ideas into smooth functionality and a breathtaking gaming experience for every UFL player. Core Gameplay Engineers implement, maintain and support core mechanics, work on input and sound systems, and solve particular problems in the game physics field. 

The role implies a significant degree of autonomy, a precise focus on the team's needs, and effective cross-functional interaction. You will provide technical design, participate in creation of project roadmaps and sprint plans, prioritize your team's work and ensure each member reaches their potential. As a Lead Engineer, you will share knowledge, collaborate daily with other experts, and build a good working relationship with the in-house and outsourced partners.

Skills and requirements:

• Five years of experience with C++ in the gaming industry;

• Strong mathematics skills, including proficiency with trigonometry, and linear algebra;

• Advanced knowledge of game characters, including animation and physics;

• Strong C++ knowledge;

• A team-player mindset and strong leadership skills;

• An analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills;

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to present your ideas to a large group of discipline experts and other leads on the project.

Will be an advantage:

• Familiarity with UE 4 or 5 plugin - Gameplay Ability System;

• Work experience on a launched gaming project; 

• Work experience in developing multiplayer games with Unreal Engine 4/5 

• Extensive gaming experience in football simulators and other console games. 

• English level sufficient for reading technical documentation; 

• Passion for game development.
